Our questions answered Dr. Boris Revich, Head of the Laboratory for prediction of environmental quality and health of the Economic Forecasting Institute of RAS, a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Chapter "Health".
He spoke about the impact of abnormal hot weather of the summer 2010 on morbidity and mortality of different Russian populations, the duration of the negative effects, foreign experience to reduce the negative impact on the population of abnormally hot weather, the existing UN World Health Organization guidelines and the programs are being developed in Russia.
